I linked to your blog a short time ago, after finding it while looking for information on raw milk. A lot of people in my area list cow and goat milk for pets only, online. Once someone buys it though- who is to say what they do with it when they get it home? Is it really the governments business? Only because they haven't dipped their greedy hands in it and taxed it to death.

They get they share on the property taxes at the feed stores, sales taxes on the feed, income taxes on the feed store employees, property taxes on the farmers and taxes on everything and anything else they can figure out a tax for. Double taxation is illegal, but apparently multiple taxation is just fine...

We currently have a cowshare, its the only way to get raw milk in Vancouver BC but the government is currently trying to take that one last freedom of choice, with regards to raw milk, away from us!

We bought our share three years ago, since exchanging raw milk for pasteurized milk I stopped getting colds, my health over the past few years has steadily increased and I feel much more active and alert, it never made me sick in any way, in fact it had the exact opposite effect.

I am very grateful to have the opportunity to be in the position to chose to drink raw milk, even if it is a bit of a hassle to have to buy a share in a cow to do so. I hope that this freedom isn't taken away from me in the next few months as the case the remove this freedom from the Canadian public in BC is going to court in a few weeks from now. Here are some details of the case: Raw Milk Benefits: Fight For Food Freedom, right now my fingers are crossed hoping I'll still have the freedom to chose to buy raw milk after the case ends.
