Kick the Coffee-Mate Habit and Start Using Raw Cream in Your Coffee Instead
Ever look on the container of Coffee Mate and peruse the ingredient list? Kind of icky. I used Coffee Mate in my coffee for years and years, mainly because it’s how I started drinking coffee and I was used to the taste. I actually did not even like cream in my coffee. But ever since we’ve had our cow and I’ve been using real cream, my coffee is so amazing.
Okay well my coffee is always amazing because I buy green coffee beans and roast them myself (as I might have already mentioned — I’m not sure!), but it is even MORE amazing with this awesome cream from our raw milk. There is nothing like having a great cup of coffee when you wake up in the morning or when you’re relaxing playing online bingo or after dinner with friends. This raw milk is wicked, I promise you!
If you love coffee you MUST go out and find some real cream to use in it. You might think there is not going to be much difference between it and what you buy in the store, but let me tell you there is a world of difference. Mainly because, as I already ranted about, most cream nowadays is ultra or ultra ultra or ultra to the 22nd power pasteurized, and it imparts a kind of sour taste to the coffee. Not tasty!
If you do not know where to go in your area to locate some milk, try going to realmilk.com and looking for a dairy in your area. But sometimes they are not listed and you have to dig a little online to find somewhere. If you are lucky enough to be living in California you can buy real milk in the stores. I think the health food stores will have it, and maybe even the regular grocery stores.
If you need help finding milk, contact me and I will help you find somewhere to try some milk. FOR YOUR PETS of course, if you live in a state where it is illegal to sell or give away raw milk for human consumption. So don’t worry if you go to get some milk and the dairy farmer has written “for pet consumption only” (or something similar) on the container. Depending on your state, they sometimes have to do that in order to comply with state law. mm

I’m still trying to get it just right. The cream I get from the dairy farmer is very thick so I’m going to mix with and see if I can make my own half and half. And yeah, raw whole milk is the only way to go!! Love that stuff
I use the cream just as is in my coffee, the thicker the better! It is really delicious. My cow is dry right now so I am having to buy milk and it the cream is not thick at all. It really varies from cow to cow. If you are getting thick cream that is great! Enjoy.
