How to Buy a Dairy Cow and Get Started Milking – A Beginner’s Guide Ebook

When I bought my first cow I scoured the Internet looking for information about dairy cows in general and what to expect with a brand new cow. Information was few and far between to say the least. There were a few bits and pieces here and there, but for the most part not much at all.

So I decided to write this ebook guide for beginners who need a helping hand getting started. I tried to be as detailed as possible in how to go about finding a cow, where to look, what price range you might expect, what to do when you get your new cow home, information on milking by hand or machine, and how to find a cheap milking machine. Also how to milk step by step, how to share-milk with a calf, what do do with your calf once he is weaned, and various other information that would be very helpful to a beginning new-cow owner.

There is also information on the various dairy breeds to help you choose your new cow.

Here is the table of contents:

Chapter 1: What are the Different Types of Dairy Cows
Chapter 2: Does My Milk Cow Have to be a Dairy Breed?
Chapter 3: How Much Does a Dairy Cow Cost and Where Can I find
One?
Chapter 4: I’ve Purchased My Own Dairy Cow, Now What?
Chapter 5: Milking Your Cow
Chapter 6: My Cow Came With a Calf, Can We Share the Milk?
Chapter 7: Help! My Refrigerator is Overflowing With Milk!
Chapter 8: Health Benefits of Raw Milk – Why it’s so Good for You

Hopefully this ebook will be a help to anyone thinking of purchasing a dairy cow. If you want to have fresh raw milk and cream available, your own dairy cow is the way to go, and it’s not nearly as hard as you might think!

The price is $7.00, and I’ve added the table of contents for you to view so that you will know exactly what the ebook contains. It is 19 pages (to the point without a lot of “fluff”), and any updates will be available for free to anyone who purchases.

Thank you! This ebook gave me the basic information I was looking for (but was so difficult to find online). I now have a pretty good idea what I’d be getting myself into if I decided to get a dairy cow.
