Raw milk is such a big problem to find, it just irritates me so much to know here in canada it is illegal. I literally have to go out of my way, hours and hours of driving to get it, or try to sneak it across the borders, literally. It gets me so mad. There isn't much freedom left in our country. Im sick of big cooperates, fat cats and there ways of controlling people to buy from them. Anyway hopefully someday this will all be taken care of.

In Canada it is illegal to sell raw milk or to sell shares of cows to bypass the law. There are a few states in the US that do allow the sale of raw milk. It doesn't make sense to try to buy raw milk from the states and ship it to Canada, except I think it would be possible to import dry powdered raw milk into Canada from the US.
QUESTION----
Does anyone process raw milk into powdered milk? I have been able to buy raw powdered whey from the US, so what about raw powdered milk?

If you live in the county or a rural area... why not just buy your own cow...1 cow only needs around 2-3 acres to graze freely on and a small shed for cover and to milk in...I realize that yes, I get up an extra 30 minutes earlier in the mornings to milk and get ready for work... but you can't beat going to the fridge and taking out an ice cold jug of milk, shaking the cream up in it and pouring a big glass... my kids love it when I make homemade whip cream too.

Why not get milk from your own cow without having to milk if yourself. We're brand new but plan to ask herdshare managers to follow Raw Milk Certification guidelines a la Mark McAfee's certification. Join herdshare.com and soon we'll release the next website which will help you create a herdshare in your region and source fresh, raw milk from a local farm.
